ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop is scheduled to take advantage of the annual Leonid Meteor Shower which in years past has produced hundreds and even thousands of meteor per hour. That won't be the case in 2020 with around 20 meteors per hour. It is still a wonderful meteor shower that has many "fireballs". We will meet at sunset and continue through the night, there is a built in break overnight to catch a cat nap if needed. This year the moon will be a "New Moon" with no moon interference at all. This meteor shower is one to be overlooked and it's the meteor shower that got me interested me even more in space weather during the 90s. The leonids put out some bright fireballs that we do not want to miss, trust me! There are many things to photograph in southern New Jersey within a short walk or drive, and we will have a lot of fun getting to know our cameras, while capturing some amazing night sky photograph with shooting stars.

A full list of camera gear will be supplied to upon registering, the basics are a DSLR camera, lens and a tripod. A full list of recommended storm chasing equipment is supplied to all registered participants
