ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
You will have an entire night out under the moon and stars photographing various landscapes, seascapes and other iconic locations with the lunar eclipse as the grand finale at the end of the night. We will meet in the afternoon on November 7th to photograph some wildlife a lighthouse, and some coastal scenery before photographing November's full moon rising at sunset. Timelapse and star trail photography will also be demonstrated and executed during this workshop. You only need 1 camera, although 2 cameras will provide you with more opportunities. A telephoto lens of at least 200mm is best for this workshop. I have photographed many lunar eclipses in Pennsylvania , New Jersey, Hawaii, Death Valley, Yellowstone and many other locations. Some samples images from various locations are shown below. This will be simply stunning to see and a great way to spend a night out under the stars before the super cold winter months settle in.
ABOUT THE MOON AND NIGHT SKY
The moon will be up all night, Full Moon photo ops at sunrise, overnight and at sunrise the morning of November 8th. We will also photograph the entire eclipse overnight and learn to create an eclipse progression panoramic during this workshop in addition to timelapse and star trail photography under moonlight. This eclipse will last for several hours and we will photograph it setting from a super special location!
CURRENT CAMPING / HOTEL INFORMATION
Depending on weather and other factors we will target Cape May Lighthouse and East Point Lighthouse. We will be out most of the night so a hotel room is not really needed here for this workshop.

Payments are non-refundable, if you need to cancel at any point, you will receive full workshop credit for any future workshop with us. Some workshops are conducted with Art school across the country, and that credit will not be able to be applied to those unfortunately.
