ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop will teach you everything you need to know about how to take great photographs of the milky way, stars and meteor showers. We will also cover star trails, timelapse photography and light painting. We will meet in the evening and capture some sunset and wildlife shots before hunkering down for the night inside the refuge for our milky way shots. The following morning capture sunrise while hunting down more eagles and other wildlife.
Even though this is a one night workshop at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, We will make short drive the next day and stay for a night of wildlife and milky way photography on Assateague Island National Seashore as well on the night of April 9th, 2022.\ If you wish you (Add on) the second night at Assateague Island, please contact me for a discounted rate!

LODGING
The closest hotels are in Cambridge, MD. We will be out the entire night, so you want not need one!
CAMERA GEAR
A full list of camera gear will be supplied to upon registering, the basics are a DSLR camera , wide/fast angle lens, a tripod and a cable release. Most gear that is used can be found on the workshop overview page.

A non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot on the trip. If you are a JBP Alumni you receive 20% OFF the ticket price. If you have to cancel for any reason, you will be issued the amount paid to a future workshop, no cash refunds once the payment has been accepted.

Failure to comply to park rules, regulations and will result in you being ejected from the workshop.
