ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop will last 5 days and 4 nights along the stunning coastline of Cape Cod National Seashore. It will be filled with starry nights and stunning scenic views. We will have the opportunity to capture many of the iconic lighthouses under the milky way with in depth discussions on how to create compelling scenic compositions during the day, and at night. We will have plenty of time to review images and do post processing while we grab a couple lobsta rolls by the ocean!
FIRST ENCOUNTER BEACH
We will take a boat ride out one day to Long Point Lighthouse where we will spend a couple of hours capturing this iconic lighthouse while the seasons first wildflowers begin to blooming adding a nice splash of color to the landscape.
Each evening we will regroup and head out for our sunset and milky way photo sessions at lighthouses and other scenic locations in Cape Cod. During the day, we will have a mix of relax time, and editing sessions as we prepare for each evening / night shoot.

TRAVEL
Travel to, from, and during the workshop is not included. Boston, Mass. you will find your closest airport. It's a short drive to Cape Cod where we will start our adventure. We will spend all of our time capturing the night sky, with lighthouses and coastal scenery in Cape Cod.

LODGING
There are many places to stay and or camp. On Cape Cod, we will be shooting between Chatham and Provincetown most of the time. I will be booking reservations in Wellfleet which is more or less in the middle from northern and southern locations. We will plan to spend 2 nights near Nauset Lighthouse, and the other 2 nights north near Provincetown, MA

A full list of camera gear will be supplied to upon registering, the basics are a DSLR camera, wide angle lens, a tripod and a cable release.You can also see the recommended equipment of most workshop on the Workshop Overview Page.

DEPOSIT
A non refundable deposit of ($650.00) is due to secure your spot on the tour. If for some reason you need to cancel, you will be credited that amount towards a future workshop with us. Due to the nature of this workshop, once a payment has been made, we can not offer you a cash refund. You will receive workshop credit in the full amount paid. The remaining balance must be paid no later than April 10th, 2023.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Jeff Berkes Photography reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, dates if need be. We are not responsible for bad weather, delays or cancellations. We are also not responsible for unplanned events, lost or stolen items, injuries, sickness, death or damages to personal equipment and lost of personal travel expense, consider travel insurance as well. Failure to comply to park rules, regulations and will result in you being ejected from the workshop. Some nights we will be up to midnight or later photographing the milky way and up early for sunrise. While in some of these locations we may be able to car pool and have less impacts.
