A B O U T T H E W O R K S H O P S
Welcome to our Milky Way and Night Sky and Landscape Photography Workshops! My goal here is to help you connect with not only your camera, but with the outdoors. Photography, traveling, and adventure have carved me into the person I am today, and I am extremely grateful for that. I hope to share my passion with you and open your eyes into the stunning world we live in while giving you guidance during the photographic process. We will learn to master the art of night sky photography as well as landscape and nature photography. What to expect? A lot of pictures and a sore finger! You will walk away with great portfolio pieces and more importantly, a better understanding of your camera and photography in general. As photographers, we can always learn something new, you will never know everything and that's what drives our creative sides and exploration. Most clients are energized by these workshops and create last friends along the way. These workshop are great for anyone! It does not matter if you are a beginner, hobbyist, amateur or professional, some workshops contain special access permits that allow us to go into restricted locations and enjoy incredible photographic subjects that few get to experience.
NIGHT SKY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
During the Night Sky and Meteor Shower adventure's, we will not only learn how to take stunning imagery at night, but we will learn about the night sky , the milky way, meteor showers, moon phases, and all of the other variables in play when it comes down to shooting the night sky through out the year. These night sky workshops open you into a whole new world of fun and excitement. Jeff has over 20 years of night sky photography experience as is considered one of the original landscape astrophotographers by some. These workshops will generally last all night long, from sunset to sunrise, focusing on our approach, light painting techniques, star trails, timelapse and much more. During the day we will relax, explore, edit our images, and prepare for for sunset and the follow night session.
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
Group and private workshops are available. These tours take you to some of the most beautiful scenery the National Park System has to offer. We will put you in the right spot at the right time and guide you with decades of professional experiences, tips and techniques on how to boost your image quality and enhance yourself as a photographer. These workshops will have sunrise, daytime, sunset and night sky photo sessions each day. We cover the entire spectrum!
PRIVATE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
