60+mph winds battered myself and my camera equipment for more than 2 hours as a strong cold front pushed through the region with isolated thunderstorms and small duststorms. My tripod was placed 1/2" from the 1,000ft drop-off at Horseshoe Bend, Arizona. I wouldn't call me crazy, just inquisitive. This was the day before the Annular Eclipse in May 2012. Now that I think about it, an eclipse during a duststorm would have been pretty neat, maybe even better
